I Love Being a Missionary. I Have Never Been Happier. The Gospel Makes Us Happy!

I love being a missionary. I have never been happier. The gospel makes us happy! I love the Lord, and I love my Heavenly Father who knows me perfectly. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church. I sustain our living prophet, Thomas S. Monson. I know the Book of Mormon is the true word of God written by true and living prophets and that it in no way replaces or retracts from the Holy Bible which I also love.

I have seen so many amazing miracles in this short time. I have come closer to the Lord and I feel the spirit in every moment of the day. I love it. I know where I came from, who I am, and what my eternal goal is.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, to everyone who has supported and loved and prayed for me through out this time. I know God hears your prayers. I’ve seen the results and tender mercies of the Lord every single day here in Peru, where my heart is, thanks to all those prayers.

I love you all. I love this work. I love my Savior.

     Hermana Freyre

I Love the Savior

My miracle of this week was the blessing of being able to witness and learn so many things through the spirit and testimonies of others. Sister Beatriz accompanied us in a lesson (miracle) with Brother Elvis. She bore her testimonio to him of the gospel, as she is a recent convert. She said “I have cancer. I don´t understando everything, but the Lord is marvelous.”

The following day we had our first lesson with Gresli, a teenage less active who is living alone here in Cañete. We asked her what “God the Father and Jesus Christ” means to her and she responded, “family.” These two events were such a miracle and blessing in my life because I was able to feel the spirit so strongly. It confirmed my testimony even more. I love the Savior.

Please pray for the Ramirez family!!

The other day we were on a combi and some kid got on and sat in front of us, facing us. I don´t know what his name was or who he was at all. He was young, dressed accordinly, and had tattoos all over his arms. As I stared at him and all his tattos, I just thought “He would look so great with a white tie and name tag instead of these clothes and tattoos.” I decided to talk to him and gave him a card before he got off at his stop.

After that I started to see everyone we passed dressed in white! I started to contact as many people as I saw because I felt so sad that they didn´t have the gospel. I think maybe it might be a portion of what our Heavenly Father feels when He sees His children lost, and gone astray. This has been a miracle for me because it has given me a new insight, a new love for the gospel, and a deeper desire to share it with ALL my brothers and sisters. I know the church is true and I love my Savior.

We had transfers and I have a new companion! She is from Chile and her name is Hermana Zuchel and I love her
Please pray for the Ramirez family!! They want to get their papers done to get married so they can get baptized but its really hard here! They need help!!
I love you all!!!!
